Alpha Bank Cyprus:
General Description: The bank was founded in 1879 as Lombard NatWest Bank. Later on it was renamed as Alpha Bank Limited and then as Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd. The bank has a lot of subsidiary financial, insurance, and investment companies and has over 400 branches in Greece as well as in Great Britain, Rumania, Albany, Cyprus, Jersey, and Bulgaria. The main shareholders are individuals who own 51% of the shares, while 9% belong to the bank's management and the remaining 46% to institutional investors.
Rates: Cost of outgoing transfer: 0.1% (plus EUR 11.90), but no more than EUR 298.49;
Cost of incoming payment: from EUR 11.90 (for amounts less than EUR 1710) to EUR 25.50 (for amounts of more than EUR 1710);
Storage of bank statements in the bank: free of charge;
Statements via fax: EUR 8.50;
Conversion: 0.1% plus EUR 3.40 (but no more than EUR 510).

Marfin Popular Bank:
General Description: Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd was founded in 1901 and today it owns a multi-branch network consisting of branches in 11 countries in developing Europe, the United Kingdom, Great Britain, Austria, Russia, and Ukraine, as well as in Malta.
The bank's basic activity is focused on servicing of companies of international business and asset management. The head office is situated in Cyprus, and the bank's shares are quoted on the Stock Exchanges in Athens and Cyprus.
Rates Annual servicing cost: EUR 120 a year;
Using of Security Token: EUR 40 (for delivery of a device);
Using of Security Token DP550 to send instructions via fax: EUR 60 (for 6 months);
Cost of incoming payments in a foreign currency (from other banks), including payments in SEPA:
- commission (crediting the account in EUR) - free of charge;
- commission (crediting the account in a foreign currency) - 0.2% (min EUR 2, max EUR 500);
Fee for a transaction:
- EUR 5 are charged for up to EUR 1000;
- EUR 15 are charged for up to EUR 50 000;
- EUR 20 are charged for over EUR 50 000;
Cost of outgoing payments in a foreign currency (to other banks): 0.15% of transaction amount (at least EUR 2, but not more than EUR 400) plus EUR 5-25 (depending on the transfer amount);
Valuation is done on the same day (charged additionally): 0.05% (min EUR 30, max EUR 300);
In case IBAN is absent in a payment document: EUR 20;
Conversion: from one foreign currency to another foreign currency - 0.1%, maximum EUR 250;
Payments via STP system: outgoing payments from 0.075% (of amount) (min EUR 2, max EUR 200).

Servicing cost: EUR 59.80 annually, used for Visa Gold and MasterCard Gold cards only;
Payment limit is EUR 8500 within one day and no more than EUR 17 500 within 4 days. It is necessary to transfer an amount of at least EUR 1 000 to the account to activate a card.
Percent for cash withdrawal in an ATM - 3.33% for RUR and USD; EUR 2.5 for any transaction in EUR (in EU countries).
Bank of Cyprus:
General Description: The bank was founded in 1899. It has taken over smaller banks of Cyprus four times since then and its activity spreads to 55% of the bank services market in Cyprus. It has over 250 branches and subsidiary banks in England, Greece, Australia, and South Africa. The bank is an open joint-stock company and its shares are quoted on the leading stock exchanges. The shares mainly belong to private persons, together with the bank's managers and employees.
Rate: Incoming payments:
- for remittances of amounts of up to EUR 1000 - EUR 3.5;
- for remittances of amounts over EUR 1000 - EUR 3.5 plus a commission of 0.1% of the amount (min EUR 5, max EUR 15);
Outgoing payments:
- 0.1% of amount (min EUR 5, max EUR 250);
- 0.15% of amount (min EUR 10, max EUR 375).

Insurance cards coverage:
Visa Electron - USD 1000;
Visa Classic - USD 5000;
Visa Gold - USD 10 000;
Visa Platinum - USD 20 000.
The limit of expenditure of cash funds is USD 1500 a day for all cards: for non-cash payments there is no set limit.
The bank charges a commission of 1.01% for non-cash payments using cards.
Cash withdrawal in the Bank of Cyprus ATM is 3.33%.
ABLV Bank (Aizkraukles Banka) Latvia:
General Description: An independent bank, ABLV Bank (former Aizkraukles Banka) was established in 1993 on the basis of a privatized regional branch of the bank of Latvia in the city of Aizkraukles. The bank is private and Ernest Bernis and Oleg Fils are the main shareholders in the bank. Both of them have 47.04% of the bank's shares, while the remaining 2.87% belong to Alexander Bergmanis.
